Mahir Can Ereren holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from King’s College London and a Bachelor’s degree from Istanbul University. He has more than 15 years of professional experience in both domestic and international institutions, including Deutsche Bank, QNB, Borusan Holding, Ata Investment, Ernst & Young, and Tera Investment.
Throughout his career, Mr. Ereren has specialized in equity research, corporate finance, portfolio management, and financial advisory, serving in various executive and leadership roles.
He has led and contributed to numerous financial projects across 12 countries, including Türkiye, Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and the Far East, facilitating the successful execution of cross-border financial transactions.
In addition to his professional work, Mr. Ereren regularly teaches and delivers seminars on finance and valuation theory at several universities.
Dr. Hakan Aksoy
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Dr. Hakan Aksoy is a senior executive with 29 years of international experience in investment management, portfolio management, and financial advisory services. He holds a Ph.D. in Banking from Marmara University, where he completed his doctoral dissertation on International Portfolio Diversification.
Dr. Aksoy holds Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB) Level 3 and Derivatives Licenses, as well as a Senior Executive Officer (SEO) License issued by the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA).
Throughout his career, Dr. Aksoy has held senior leadership positions in several countries. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer at Commercial Bank of Qatar Asset Management LLC, where he successfully revitalized the company’s inactive portfolio management operations, developed new investment product strategies, and established several investment funds in Qatar.
Previously, he served as Director of Private Equity at Qatar First Bank, managing venture capital investments totaling USD 300 million.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Aksoy held leadership roles in portfolio management, research, investment advisory, mergers and acquisitions, and equity analysis at renowned domestic and international financial institutions, including KT Portfolio Management, Tenax Capital (London, UK), Deutsche Securities, and Finans Investment.
Dr. Aksoy is recognized for his comprehensive understanding of global financial markets, his ability to develop effective investment strategies, and his strong leadership skills.
Müjdat Ede
Member of the Board
Müjdat Ede graduated from Anadolu University with a degree in Economics in 2004 and completed his Master’s degree in Capital Markets and Stock Exchange at Marmara University in 2007, where he wrote his thesis on Behavioral Finance.
Since 2005, he has built extensive experience in the financial sector, specializing in investment advisory, fund management, algorithmic trading, high-frequency trading (HFT), and capital markets projects.
Mr. Ede began his career at Ata Securities, where he worked in investment advisory, sales and marketing management, technical analysis, and investor education. He later developed strategic solutions for individual and institutional clients at Finans Investment, Ünlü Securities, İnfo Investment, and Deniz Investment. He played a pioneering role in the establishment of arbitrage funds, the development of robo-advisor systems, and the launch of digital investment platforms.
At Deniz Investment, he co-founded www.algolab.com.tr, one of Türkiye’s first online algorithmic trading platforms. He also managed a TÜBİTAK-supported Robo Advisor Fund project, leading advanced technological initiatives such as HFT infrastructure development and the creation of co-location-based trading systems. In recent years, he has extended his interests to blockchain technologies and digital assets, conducting independent projects in NFT creation and token development.
Since 2024, Mr. Ede has served as Deputy General Manager at Piramit Portfolio Management Inc., where he has been responsible for the establishment and management of investment funds, the design of internal control and risk systems, and the active management of equity funds.
He holds Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB) Level 3 and Derivatives Licenses, and possesses advanced technical expertise in Excel, Python programming, algorithmic platforms, data feed systems, and HFT modules. Mr. Ede regularly gives seminars and in-house training sessions on financial technologies, behavioral finance, and investor experience at various universities.
Guided by his focus on digital transformation, technology, and innovative financial instruments, Mr. Ede also serves as an expert witness on the Istanbul Regional Board and develops technology-driven, data based, and behaviorally informed investment strategies within the funds under his management.
